István Nádler (1938) moulds different inspirational influences into single compositions. The natural environment in Feketebács, Malevich’s suprematism, Art Informel, harde edge painting, motifs of Hungarian folk art, European classics (Bach, Schubert, Debussy) and traditional Far-Eastern music, join in a consonance in each of his paintings. He incorporated gestural painting in his structural geometric abstraction in an individual manner, thanks to his motifs, the power of metaphorical expression and a meditative method.
