In artistic attitude of György Szemadám (1947), there are two supporting pillars: one is his relationship with living creatures and natural, and the other is his view of time and the past, lending his art a strand of archaism. This book examines how these two aspects run through his artistic work, considering his paintings and their various groupings, analysing the thematic strands, and (re)assessing his work from the viewer’s angle.
