T. Doromby Mária
From the free-canvas and pattern compositions, Mária T. Doromby (1949) moved to the work she exhibited at the free canvas exhibitions of the 1990s: these large-scale works meant for her freedom of technique and composition. Her latest plastic works are made of wire. The wire variously runs free, forms balls and random accumulations, and links up into a tissue, like a metal fabric; sometimes a repeat system is broken by painful voids. The wire, the surface woven from the wire, and the outline it forms or is formed into, is a terrain or spatial medium infused with tension between regular and irregular, order and chaos.Price: 2500 HUF
